What is Pediatric Dentistry?

Our experienced team of pediatric specialists are specially trained in working with infants, children and adolescents, teaching them how to develop good dental habits that will carry them into adulthood. In establishing trust and confidence with your child, we can focus our efforts on preventing tooth decay, giving advice on how to make teeth stronger and the importance of developing ways to prevent cavities in the future.

Why Have a Pediatric Dentist?

Pediatric dentists have extensive knowledge of dental problems specific to children and adolescents. Being up to date on the most recent advances in dental procedures for kids is our goal, so you can be assured that you’re receiving the best information from a specialist in the field.

Just as important as the technical training, pediatric specialists know that children have to be treated a little differently than adults. Dentists who work strictly with children know that showing respect, compassion and a gentle touch will always get the best results from our young patients. Pediatric dentists are trained in Child Physiology, so that they are able to approach the child’s needs from a different perspective.

As children grow into adolescents, the focus turns more towards self image. Early detection of dental problems can resolve a lot of problems that can progress as your child gets older and improve your child’s smile.
